sobrang nakakataba ng puso nung pinuri nila sir Al, ma'am Agnes, Sir Vito yung scrapbook namin na talaga namang pinaghirapan namin..
isa sa mga recquirments yung pag gawa ng scrapbook for us to get our COC (certificate of completion), and yung evaluation namin as intern sa Life Change Recovery Center, aion.. pero kami.. (yung batch namin) ginawa namin yun ng may pagmamahal.. hindi namin tinipid yun.. para na rin sa LCRC at sa mga makakakita..

sila nurse Jen, Nurse Belle, at Nurse Roy na-appreciate din nila yung pinaghirapan namin.. nakakatuwa yung mga comment nila..

si Kuya Herald, sabi niya yun daw ung pinaka magandang scrapbook..

we never had the chance to talk to the residents pero nung nakita namin sila, Ok na OK naman yung lagay nila..hindi sila pinabayaan sa LCRC..

kanina is our last day.. aion.. masaya kami kahit papano naka more than 100 hours pero malungkot kami kasi mawawala na kami sa LCRC.. pero the experience was great! as in! ang dami naming natutunan..

aion na nga! nung kumakanta kami.. (paalis na kasi kami eh) umiiyak kami,, and then yung mga residents isa isang naglapitan sa amin.. kinamayan kami at yumakap sa amin..

nakakatuwa sila at nakaktouch yung sinabi nila sa amin na kami daw, from Lyceum of the Philippines University ang batch na nagustuhan nila na nagpracticum doon..

hindi naman sa nagbubuhat ng banko huh..

sabi din ng mga staff, isa na si Kuya Joel doon, na kami lang daw yung batch na naghahatid ng mga pagkain nila..

sobrang napamahal sa amin yung institution..

sobrang dami kong natutunan sa mga housemates (residents)

sobrang madami din akong nadiscover sa kanilang buhay buhay at sa sarili ko na din siyempre..

kanina nagpractice kami ng mga kakantahin for this week together with the residents.. tsaka sa birthday ni Ms. Agnes..

last week na din kasi namin- nakakatuwa at nakaktouch kasi sabi ng mga residents kami ung batch na gusto nila.. kami daw yung batch na nagustuhan nila na nagpracticum dun from Lyceum of the Philippines University..

by the way ang aactive nila magsikanta kanina.. aion.. yung kinanta nila "ain't no mountain high enough" in fairness isa sa mga residents si kuya danilo (xempre hindi niya totoong name) yung nag isip ng step for the chorus na:

kanina ung mga nangyari.. may program as in.. culminating activity ng mga residents.. napaka active nila, napakasasaya nila tignan, and then, nakakataba ng puso kasi naghanda kami ng mga foods para sa kanila ung nachos, fishballs and kikiams-nakakataba ng puso kasi habang kumakain sila ng mga food, excited sila, nakakatuwa talaga.. salo- salo sila, siyempre nakidukot na din kami ng mga nachos.

nagsayaw yung mga staffs sa Life Changes,active din.. aion.. sila sir AL, nurse Jen at kuya Daniel

kanina together with Kuya Cleng (i don't know if tama yung spelling ko ng Cleng) sinamahan namin yung isa sa mga residents ng Life Changes Recovery Center sa chruch sa may jamboree street.. my code for that resident is innocent.. @ first hindi siya tumatawa as in tahimik lang siya nasa isang upuan lang.. pero together with the young children na nandun sa activity area, somehow nagpaparticipate siya..

Matalino siyang tao.. Nakikinig sa Lecture at discussion at nasagutan niya lahat ng after questions sa paper provided ng bible study class..

nakakaawa siya dahil sa condition niya pero OK naman na siya.. wish ko lang gumaling na siya ng tuluyan..

pero mabait naman si clueless eh, kinakausap ko naman siya and matino naman yung mga responses niya..

grabee sa afternoon session kanina nag-clay pummeling ung mga residents, aion may mga cooperative naman sa kanila.. natakot ako sa one of the residents kasi nakangiti ako sa kanya kanina taz ung mga mata niya seryosong nakatingin sa akin.. pero hindi ako nagpatinag coz I'm one of the facilitator.. hehehe


masayang masaya ako kasi today is friday na-improe ko somehow "AKO"... e1 ko huh pero sobrang mahiyain ako(hindi lang talaga halata) all of my groupmates sa ojt ay nagtataka-- bakit gnun ako.. hayyy hindi nga maintindihan kung bakit whenever i am in front of the residents na-s-stupor ako n a parang ewan.. hehehe... but then masaya ako kasi sa last day of the week nailalabas ko somehow ung "ako"

I am not in a hurry naman para makapag adjust pero aion.. I'm starting on..

I'm so happy today.. medyo nahihiya pa ako pero i'm trying to control my shyness.. hehehe.. sbi ng one of the residents " hi gem!!, wag ka ng mahihiya sa amin huh".. sa Life Changes Recovery Center kasi they used to call me "gem" short for Germaine

aion.. nanonood ung mga residents ng movie which is related sa theme for this week na "living here and now" entitled my only you starring Vhong Navarro and Toni Gonzaga.. ung mga residents na-feel ko na super nag enjoy naman sila..

nung morning session nag mass ung mga residents and gumawa ng letter para sa birthday ni Pastor Paul..


naka 12 hours din ako for his day.. hehehe.. late na kami nakauwi- mga around 8:30pm na kami nakaalis sa Life Change Recovery Center,and then na meet namin si Dr. Randy Dellosa, nag discuss si Doc. Randy about sa dreams.. dream theraphy/analysis..

(grabee I'm willing to sacrifice my regular watching of the show Only You kasi nandun si Sam Milby hehehe para sa Life Changes Recovery Center.... uhmmm..,. before pag hindi ako nakakamodd nun feeling ko hindi ako complete, pero now- na may nadidiscover ako sa Life Changes Recovery Center.. parang ok lng kahit hindi ko muna mapanood ung Only You.. kasi nasa Life Changes Recovery Center naman ako :P"

halos everyday parang its always a new chapter for me pag nasa harap na ako ng mga residents ng Life Changes Recovery Center.. aion... hayyyyy... hindi ko mapakita yung totoong ako sa kanila, pero sobrtang mababait naman sila..

parang i dont know what to do pag nasa harap na nila ako.. as in, pero hindi naman ako ganun talaga..

may 5, 2009 Life changes recovery center experience

aion.. it was my first day na as in.. as official practicumer... masaya talaga sa Life Changes.. ung mga residents nanood ng film entitled 'The day the Earth Stood Still" starring Keanu Reeves as Klaatu and Jennifer Connelly as Helen Benson... the theme for this is week is the life here and now so related ung film sa theme.. nakaktouch ung sabi ni Helen na "we can change" trully we can change, and it is for something better..

my first day in Life Changes Recovery Center?? uhmm parang rosary na full of mystery pero sobrang masaya..

the first ever i meet the residents...

i am germaine, but then most of my friends used to call me gem.. edi un na nga back to my experience in Life Changes Recovery Center, the first time, i ever meet and encounter the residents, i am so happy but then nandun ung kaba, nandun ung feeling na d mo alam kung anong gagawin mo at na feel ko din na "OMG psychology is not for me" but then, masaya.. kasi i know na may matutunan ako.. mag eenjoy ako, and mag ggrow ako as a student..

in fairness hindi naman harmful ung mga residents.. mababait naman sila..
